Collaborators

ANA PAULA CAETANO.jpeg

I have a master and a doctor degree in Plant Biology at Unicamp. I currently work as a professor and researcher at the Federal University of Mato Grosso, and I maintain collaborations with NERP. I mainly work with anatomy of reproductive organs in a functional and evolutionary context. I like gardening, cooking and watching series.

CARLOS.jpg

I'm a biologist and a PhD candidate in Plant Biology at UNICAMP. I work on angiosperm phenology and mistaken pollination systems, primarily in dipteran-pollinated plants. I enjoy walking through forests, observing plants, and taking photos of flowers.

Flavia Marquitti.jpg

I'm a mathematician and biologist, a professor at Unicamp and a research associate at NERP. I work with theoretical mathematical models and am interested in the link between ecology and evolution and in processes at different scales. Furthermore, I follow Dori from the movie Nemo: "Just keep swimming…"

JESSYCA.jpeg

I'm a PhD student in Ecology. I work primarily on pollination ecology and its implications for population structure. Cooking is one of my favorite hobbies.

João Custodio.jpeg

I have a PhD in Ecology and am currently a postdoctoral fellow at UFMG. I work on the reproductive biology of vereda plants and have a special interest in orchids and autogamy mechanisms. I have a dog named Panda, whom I love and who is incredibly cool.

JOAO ROBAZZI.jpg

I'm a postdoctoral fellow at FFCLRP and co-founder and principal investigator of PollinTech, a company that offers bee training services for coffee pollination in Brazil. I work on the cognitive ecology of pollination and am interested in the sensory and cognitive abilities of bees in the context of pollination. I love to cook, so please send me recipes!

LARISSA.jpeg

I have a PhD in Plant Biology and a postdoctoral degree from UNESP. Throughout my studies, I have worked on plant attributes and reproductive strategies, with an emphasis on floral morphology and pollinator-plant interactions. Currently, my focus is on understanding the macroecology of angiosperm flower coloration. I love outdoor activities, exploring new places, meditating, caring for plants, and taking pictures of my cat, Tom. :D

LORENA.jpg

I have a PhD in Ecology from UFMG and am currently a postdoctoral fellow at UFVJM. I currently work on the evolution of floral morphology and function, as well as the interaction between plants and bees in vibration-pollinated species. In my spare time, I enjoy martial arts, reading, and photographing nature.

MARCELO MONGE.JPG

I am a botanist and an evolutionary biologist. Currently, I work as a postdoc and I am interested in Systematics, Macroevolution and Biogeography. I am a specialist in Asteraceae and work with phylogenomic, evolution in time and space, using evolutionary mathematical models. I am a cactophile and keep a small collection of succulents to distract me.

PIETRO.jpeg

I'm a professor at UFMG in Belo Horizonte and collaborate with NERP after moving from Uberlândia. I primarily study the interaction between plants and pollinators, and I'm particularly interested in combining natural history with ecological questions at different scales. I enjoy reading, dogs, plants, and the trio of cooking, eating, and sleeping.

RENATA.jpeg

I'm a biologist with a PhD in Plant Biology and currently a postdoctoral fellow at UFMG. I study morphological variations at the intra-individual and population levels. My goal is to understand how these variations influence plant reproductive success, using distylous species as a model.

THAIS VASCONCELOS.jpeg

I am a professor in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Michigan and have worked primarily at the intersection of trait evolution (e.g., floral), biogeography, and angiosperm diversification.
